Suck It and See, the title of the Artic Monkeys’ new album, has been determined to be unacceptable for display in some U.S. Supermarkets. It will consequently be sold with a sticker over the title on the front of the album, although the title will still be visible on the side.

According to NME.com, Slash has started working on his follow-up to his 2010 debut solo album entitled Slash. In a recent chat with Planet Rock Radio, the former Guns N’ Roses axe-man said that he would again work with Myles Kennedy, the singer of hard rock stalwarts Alter Bridge, but in a larger capacity.

In that short span, he talked about his budding solo career and Thom Yorke’s dancing in Radiohead’s “Lotus Flower” video, but intriguingly, he dropped that The King of Limbs wasn’t intended to be their follow-up to 2007’s In Rainbows.

According to Blabbermouth.net, Synyster Gates, lead shredder for Avenged Sevenfold told that A7X came incredibly close to splitting up after the 2009 death of their drummer James Sullivan aka “The Rev.” What kept them from doing so was their fans and Sullivan’s family.

In an early morning post on their Facebook page, Australian rockers Silverchair have announced that they will not be making any more music. Labeling the split as more of an “indefinte hibernation,” recalling Blink 182’s already-recinded “indefinite hiatus,” the band has still left the door open in the future.

They just unveiled the title of the record via Facebook: “We can exclusively reveal that the new Opeth album will be titled Heritage. The record is due for release through Roadrunner Records in September. More details to follow soon.”
