Usually when two bands co-headline a show, one still opens for the other. Maybe if they co-headline a tour, they switch off actually headlining. In the case of Weezer and the Flaming Lips, they will actually and literally share the stage with each other.
Former Queens of the Stone Age bassist/vocalist Nick Oliveri has been arrested for domestic battery after an hours-long stand-off with a SWAT team yesterday (July 12th). After the arrest, police also found an unregistered loaded gun in the bassist’s house.

Filmmaker Timothy Ro has released a new short film entitled The Conversationalist, with Guitar International’s Dr. Matthew Warnock contributing the score. According to MattWarnockGuitar.com, Timothy Ro contacted him after the piece was filmed about recording the score. “He wanted a jazzy feel to the music, kind of Ed Bickert meets Gene Bertoncini, I immediately agreed to do the project.”
