Rock supergroup Chickenfoot has released another teaser sample of a song from their upcoming album, which you can check out below. The band, which just signed an exclusive deal with eOne Music for North American marketing and distribution, will be releasing their second album, oddly entitled Chickenfoot III on September 27th.
Chickenfoot, which features vocalist Sammy Hagar and bassist Michael Anthony, both of Van Halen, Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith and guitar hero Joe Satriani, is letting fans sample “Big Foot,” the album’s first single on YouTube and other platforms. The entire single will be released in less than a month on August 2nd.
Their new deal with eOne Music looks to be a fruitful partnership. “I am very happy to join forces with eOne. The Foot has landed!” said Sammy Hagar of the exclusive deal.

eOne Music President Alan Grunblatt added, “Chickenfoot is one of the top selling hard rock groups in the country. Everyone at eOne is thrilled to be working with them.”
Chickenfoot III will include, in addition to “Big Foot”: “No Change”, “Who’s Next”, “Astral Years” and “I Ain’t Got You, I Got The Two By Blues”. The album will also be the band’s first foray into 3D, with both the album cover and “Big Foot” music video to be fooling eyes and brains with cutting-edge 3D technology.
While speaking to Artisan News about the new album, vocalist Sammy Hagar said, “We took a giant step on this record. It still sounds like Chickenfoot, ’cause it’s the same guys, but I think the experience that we had together on tour and the success of the last record really opened us up to who and what we are.”
