The Martin Guitar Museum takes visitors on a journey through time. From way back in 1833 when Christian F. Martin Sr. arrived in New York City to pursue the guitar-making tradition he had learned from Johann Stauffer in Germany all the way to the present day. Over this period of time, the Martin name has become recognized as an American tradition in fine-guitar craftsmanship.

Chicago luthier Dan Koentopp has a lot on his plate these days. With three new guitars currently on his workbench, and a list of orders building up for the winter months, it seems like word is finally starting to spread on this hidden gem of the guitar making world.

Based on the old Filtertron style but designed to fit a standard Humbucker cavity, the first set in the new handwound ‘Swing-O’ range is now available.

Paul Reed Smith Guitars started Experience PRS four years ago in order to gather together the company’s distributors, dealers, the media and PRS Guitars enthusiasts. The first year’s event drew an impressive 700 participants, as well as a group of Paul Reed Smith Guitars celebrity endorsees.
