Guitar International magazine has assigned our past Western Illinois University (WIU) summer intern, Brady Lavin, as its new Managing Editor. He is finishing up degrees in Music Business and Accountancy at WIU. His past experience has included running Rock N Rolla, a music newsletter and entertainment guide. All advertising proceeds from the newsletter were used to promote music and education.
Guitar International is honored to be recognized by Guitar Friendly as the recipient of it’s 3rd place award in the site’s “Guitar News and Information Award” category,as part of Guitar Friendly’s 2010 Guitar Blog Awards announced on August 3, 2010.
While in my early twenties, I attended college in Coventry, England, and served as a Staff Assistant to the American Studies Department.
