Yamaha RGX A2 Electric Guitar
The Yamaha RGX-A2 electric guitar features an A.I.R. or Alternative Internal Resonance body where an inner lightweight wood is sandwiched between harder, heavier wood on the top and back of the guitar's body. The lighter inner wood contains air chambers which Yamaha calls "air tubes" which pass the top's vibrations through to the guitar's back, causing the whole guitar body to resonate when the guitar is played. The result is a more efficient and lightweight guitar with the sustain and tone of a much heavier guitar. The Yamaha RGXA2 3-position pick-up selector switch uses high intensity LEDs to indicate the active pick-up, blue for the bridge and green for the neck, visible even on the darkest stage.
