The Ibanez GRG170DX is the first guitar in Ibanez’s new GRG series. This sharp looking new guitar features a 24 fret maple neck with the Ibanez sharktooh inlays, a basswood body, chrome die-cast tuners, a chrome FAT 10 bridge, and a meaty Powersound humbucker/single-coil/humbucker pickup configuration. The fast neck, comfortable RG style body and great sound (not to mention great price!) will make this guitar a favourite of guitarists of all levels. With a good balance of highs and lows, basswood is right in between alder and mahogany in sound character.
