PRS SE Soapbar II Maple Electric Guitar
The Paul Reed Smith PRS SE Soapbar II Maple Top features a solid mahogany body in the traditional PRS SE Soapbar double cutaway with a visually stunning flamed maple top, a 22 fret 25" scale length mahogany set neckwith rosewood fretboard and moon inlays, two PRS soapbar pickups, and a PRS designed stoptail bridge. With a solid mahogany body and set mahogany neck, the PRS Soapbar II Maple Top has a full mid-range tone, while the flamed maple top brightens the higher frequencies. The 25" scale length allows ease of string bending with the added harmonic range of a longer scale length neck. The Wide Fat neck-carve has the same nut width as the PSR Wide Thin neck but with a bigger profile. Because of it's strength, the Wide Fat neck produces warm tones with lots of sustain. The PRS Stoptail Bridge is pre-compensated for modern gauge strings , though fine tuning is possible by adjusting the set screws at each end of the bridge. The bridge features slots that recess the strings as they pass over the top, and provides for direct transmission of vibrations to the guitar body.
