British amp makers Orange showcased their newer and classic models in an impressive and towering display. While the company’s signature orange colored amps are easy enough to recognize from across a crowded room, the fact that they were stacked three and four high made the Orange booth one of the brightest and most noticeable at the conference.

Daisy Rock Guitars founded and CEO Tish Ciravolo was on hand at this weekend’s Summer NAMM conference to showcase about a dozen of the company’s models. With an ever expanded catalogue of offerings, and a strong response from players, it’s no wonder that Daisy Rock is quickly becoming a household name across the country.

Guitar makers Ernie Ball-Music Man showcased their wares in a split-booth format at this year’s Summer NAMM show. One side of the aisle was set up to display a wide array of Ernie Ball guitars and accessories, including a beautiful Music Man Albert Lee Signature Model, seen in the picture below

Perennial favorites Taylor Guitars was a significant exhibitor at the 2010 Summer NAMM conference. Not only did the company showcase a room full of their current models, including the intriguing Baritone 8-String guitar, Bob Taylor and company brought out three new products to premier in their display.

It’s June in Tennessee and we all know what that means. No not the heat, humidity or roar of stock-car engines, it’s time again for the annum Summer NAMM show held at the Nashville Conference Center in the city’s beautiful downtown district, and Guitar International is on the scene with live coverage of the festivities. Though the summer conference is more subdued and smaller scale than its West Coast winter counterpart, the summer show offers people the chance to spend ample time browsing exhibits and conversing with industry insiders from every corner of the music business.

The atmosphere at all three Experience PRS events I’ve attended has been consistent with the PRS staff, the dealers and distributors , invited guests and celebrity artists all enthusiastic and delighted to get to know one another and talk guitars.

While touring the PRS grounds, everyone had opportunities to stop and meet some of their favorite guitarists. I bumped into the formidable Celtic guitarist, Tony McManus, who would later play some of his Celtic riffs.

The third annual Experience PRS trade event officially opened its doors on September 25, 2009 near the banks of the Chesapeake Bay, Maryland. Two years ago Paul and his colleagues fashioned Experience PRS to bring together dealers, distributors and fans of PRS guitars from all over the world.
