Rick Landers, Guitar International’s publisher has announced the release of his first children’s book in a series called, “The Adventures of Digit & Tess”, now available in print as a paperback, as well as an eBook. The series is about a young Canadian girl named, Tess Hopper, and her companion an AI-robotic cat, Digit. The two have a few challenges, but by the end of the book, and their first adventure to Niagara Falls, they become friends.

A self-taught musician with a strong reverence for guitar masters, Ben Gallaher’s songs radiate a passion for the lyric-driven country music that influenced him as a young boy listening to his parents’ radio in smalltown Pennsylvania. The triple-threat singer, songwriter and guitarist recently released a must-hear cover of Bryan Adams’ 1983 smash hit “Cuts Like a Knife,” on which he plays every guitar part, including the song’s iconic solo.

I’m already tired of seeing the #NAMMSHOW sculpture photo, so I chose a different photo here (I hope you like it too). Despite the absences, NAMM 2024 was awesome. The numbers show 62,000 attendees, 33% more than in 2023, but still far from the record 115,000 attendees in 2020. The number of 2024 exhibitors also increased: 33% more than in 2023.
