As soon as we walked into the door at Gibson’s 2011 NAMM show exhibit we ran right into the Eric Clapton 1960 Les Paul Reissue. The guitar is easy on the eyes, to say the least, and though we didn’t get a chance to take it for a spin, if it measure’s up to Clapton’s standard for tone, well, this might be one of the best additions to the Gibson catalog in recent years. Only time will tell if it can stand up to the original beauty it was modeled after.
