QSC PLX3002 Power Amp
A technological descendant of the PowerLight series, the QSC PLX3002 Power Amp makes PowerWave technology much more affordable. This technology provides ample current to audio power circuitry by charging the supply rails 230,000 times a second so the signal is never starved. It creates crisp, clean sound; reduces heat; and virtually eliminates hum and noise. Other features include: zero inrush current at turn-on, class H complementary bipolar output circuitry, variable-speed fan cooling, front-panel indicators for signal metering, clipping, protect, parallel inputs, and bridged mono mode. Protection circuitry includes DC, infrasonic, and thermal overload protection, plus patented Output Averaging short circuit protection. Requires 2 rack spaces. Stereo: 550W @ 8 ohms, 900W @ 4 ohms, 1,500W @ 2 ohms. Bridge mono: 1,100W @ 16 ohms, 2,000W @ 8 ohms, 3,000W @ 4 ohms. Includes 3-year warranty.
