QSC PLX1602 Power Amp
A technological descendant of the PowerLight series, the QSC PLX1602 Power Amplifier makes PowerWave technology much more affordable. This technology provides ample current to audio power circuitry by charging the supply rails 230,000 times a second so the signal is never starved. This amp creates crisp, clean sound, reduces heat, and virtually eliminates hum and noise. Other features of the PLX1602 include: zero inrush current at turn-on, class H complementary bipolar output circuitry, variable-speed fan cooling, front-panel indicators for signal metering, clipping, protect, parallel inputs, and bridged mono mode. Protection circuitry includes DC, infrasonic, and thermal overload protection, plus patented Output Averaging short circuit protection. Stereo: 300W per channel @ 8 ohms, 500W @ 4 ohms, and 800W @ 2 ohms. Bridge mono: 600W @ 16 ohms, 1,100W @ 8 ohms, 1,600W @ 4 ohms. Requires 2 rack spaces. QSC power amp comes with 3-year warranty.
