On Tuesday, October 1, 2013, Hard Rock officially celebrated the Grand Reopening of its newly renovated Baltimore location by partnering with Paul Reed Smith Guitars [PRS Guitars], a Maryland-based guitar manufacturer, to donate 16 new PRS SE Angelus acoustic guitars to Baltimore’s Frederick Douglass High School’s music department.

It has been three years since Alter Bridge’s last studio album, ABIII, and their fans have been eagerly awaiting their return. With Myles Kennedy on vocals/guitar, Mark Tremonti on guitar/vocals, Brian Marshall on bass and Scott Phillips on drums, the band returns on October 8th with their fourth album, Fortress.

It was 1973 when the Steve Miller Band released their 8th recording, The Joker. The album would go platinum and provide Miller and his band their first commercial success, reaching #2 on the Billboard charts. Little did they know then, that the title track would manage to weave itself not only into the musical lexicon, but into the fabric of American pop culture.

British metal legends, Saxon, have announced a North American tour which will run from September 12th to October 10th. The tour is a rare treat for Saxon fans as it hits many markets that the band has not visited in some time.
