Lollapalooza 2013 didn’t have a whole lot to offer for metal fans outside of Queens of the Stone Age and Nine Inch Nails on Friday night, but Savannah, GA’s Baroness made Saturday a lot heavier when they threw down at the Petrillo Stage.
At Lollapalooza 2013, the Postal Service played their second to last show ever, with the last being a Lollapalooza after party the next day. You’d think this would make everybody sad, to be losing such an iconic band, but we really lost the Postal Service years ago. The recent tour, culminating in these two nights at Lollapalooza 2013, has just been a bonus that no one expected.
I walked up to the Mowgli’s set at Lollapalooza 2013 in a normal mood, not knowing who the heck they were. A friend told me to check them out, so I decided I’d give ‘em a shot. By the time the Mowgli’s were done with me, I was giddy, practically skipping to the next act on my schedule.
