Is it really fifty years ago that Bruce Cockburn’s first album came out? Indeed it is. His eponymous titled album, which included “Going to the Country” and “Musical Friends,” was released on April 7, 1970. Coincidently, it was also the first album released by True North records.

Exciting news coming from House of Blues and guitar legend Carlos Santana today as they announce the continuation of Santana’s residency, An Intimate Evening with Santana: Greatest Hits Live. The residency, which is in its eighth successful year at the House of Blues Las Vegas at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, will continue into fall 2020.

Fender Musical Instruments Corporation (FMIC) today announced Servco Pacific Inc. (Servco) and TPG Growth have entered into a sale and purchase agreement in which Servco will acquire TPG’s shares in the company. The acquisition is targeted to close in February 2020, subject to certain closing conditions.
