The nightly concerts at the Crown of the Continent Guitar Festival in Bigfork Montana, Aug. 24 – Sep 1, 2012, were sold-out knockouts, featuring some of the finest guitarists in the world in every genre.

It was in California that the Fur Peace Ranch first presented its “On The Road” workshops. It’s a concept that has proved successful and we enjoy spending a few weeks during the Winter in warm and beautiful surroundings bringing the spirit of Fur Peace and our award-winning classes to “On The Road” destinations.

The future of the guitar is in good hands. Today, in a big white tent in a field here at luxury dude ranch Flathead Lake Lodge in Bigfork Montana, 11 young semi-finalists for Lee Ritenour’s Yamaha 6-String Theory Guitar Competition duked it out to determine which six will compete in the finals this Wednesday, which will be judged by Ritenour, Sonny Landreth, Chris Hillman and Dave Grusin.
