Michael Monroe’s last album, Sensory Overdrive, was a worldwide critical and commercial success. The band’s new album, Horns and Halos, which was released world-wide on August 23 is a cosmopolitan affair, written and recorded around the world by the international posse.

British metal legends, Saxon, have announced a North American tour which will run from September 12th to October 10th. The tour is a rare treat for Saxon fans as it hits many markets that the band has not visited in some time.

By the time you’re reading this, legendary guitarist, Joe Satriani has already released his 14th studio CD this past May, his 2013 World Tour has taken him to through Europe, Turkey, Russia and he is now half way through his full U.S. tour and first ever cross-Canada tour.

We met up with guitarist, Steve Stevens, in his dressing room at the Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts in Vienna, Virginia, an hour before he and the Billy Idol Band would launch into a rock tirade that launched the sold out the fist pumping crowd to it feet – for the entire show.

Since their inception, Black Label Society has been at the forefront of hard rock. Their penchant for hard riffs and blazing solos has resulted in a slew of hugely successful albums and a reputation for being a powerful live band.
