Candlelight Red formed in 2008 and is comprised of four rockers from Pennsylvania. Together the band has been writing songs together and spending time introducing their edgy-yet-melodic sound to clubs all over central PA, NY, MD and Ohio.

As the singer of Judas Priest, Rob Halford’s blazing vocal style became a crucial ingredient to Heavy Metal’s most classic moments, while visually Rob’s aggressive styled stage costumes were globally embraced as the definitive metal look. There are plenty of reason why Rob is widely referred to as The Metal God, as few others have contributed more, or influenced so many, as Halford with his signature sound and imagery.

Alexi Laiho, founding member and frontman of extreme metal act Children of Bodom (CoB), is known for incredible six-string momentum and melodic speed along with stern vocal strength. Besides CoB and side project Sinergy, he has played with Impaled Nazarene, Kykähullut, and Thy Serpent. Japan’s premier guitar magazine, Young Guitar, voted him Guitarist of the Year in 2005.

During the mid-70s America was hit with a second coming British Invasion, the “New Wave of British Heavy Metal.” Following in the feral tracks of British metal pioneers Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and Deep Purple was a new branch of metal that was raw and velocity fueled and included groups like Iron Maiden, Motorhead and Judas Priest.

Last year in Guitar World magazine, ubershredder Yngwie Malmsteen recalled his journey to America, a country he called “truly the land of opportunity.” He came off the plane with a guitar, an extra pair of pants, and a dream, and since his breakthrough, many other European guitarists came over hoping to follow in his footsteps.

George Lynch has inserted himself into the annals of rock history with a career spanning over 30 years. Largely recognized for his Grammy nominated work with hard rock-metal group Dokken, George has also embarked on other collaborative and solo works to broaden his range of playing and creativity including Lynch Mob and Souls of We.

What do you get when you combine some of the top metal bands, booze, stage diving and partying outside on a broiling hot New Jersey summer day? Hell, it must be the Rockstar Energy Drink UPROAR Festival. This festival, like the Rockstar Mayhem Festival, has two stages of live music and plenty of the same drunken craziness.
