In times like this, it helps to have a little music to keep us all united and keep our spirits high. Music is an enduring, powerful force. Whether a music lover, a casual player, or a professional musician, right now many people are in need of some help, some comfort, and some good old distraction.
With that in mind, and to help the family of PRS Artists who have been uniquely impacted, PRS Guitars has shared a “Music Unites” list of music content.
“I wanted to reach out to our artists during this tough time because I was individually hearing so many stories of how COVID-19 was impacting their lives and their livelihoods.
Many artists were turning to livestreaming and social media for catharsis or to offer lessons to people who, like them, just found themselves with a lot of time on their hands,” said Bev Fowler, PRS Guitars Director of Artist Relations. “We wanted to help them spread that message and connect music fans with positive content and educational opportunities.”
This quest resulted in the “Music Unites” listing on www.prsguitars.com/artists. The list is comprised of live performance streaming content and guitar lesson opportunities. Ever thought about taking private Skype guitar lessons from Brent Mason or Mark Lettieri? How about Nicholas Veinoglou or Dave Weiner? Now is the time.
This list will be ever-evolving and will be kept as up-to-date as possible for the foreseeable future, so be sure to check back often for more ways to stay connected. Anyone interested can also follow PRS Guitars on social media at @prsguitars
