Elektra Records with Brandi Carlile, Twenty One Pilots and More top 61st Grammy Awards

CarlileBytheWayThe Elektra Music Group has received a number of top of nominations for the upcoming 61st Annual GRAMMY® Awards.

First and foremost, Low Country Sound/Elektra recording artist Brandi Carlile earned six nominations, including “Record of the Year,” “Song of the Year,” “Best American Roots Performance,” “Best American Roots Song” for “The Joke” (Brandi Carlile, Dave Cobb, Phil Hanseroth & Tim Hanseroth, songwriters), as well as “Album of the Year” and “Best Americana Album” for the acclaimed, By the Way, I Forgive You.

Fueled By Ramen recording group Twenty One Pilots earned a “Best Rock Song” nomination for “Jumpsuit” (Tyler Joseph, songwriter), from their recently released sophomore album, Trench.

A number of other artists each received their first ever GRAMMY® nominations, including Roadrunner recording group The Fever 333, who picked up a “Best Rock Performance” nod for “Made An America” and Roadrunner recording group Trivium, who earned a “Best Metal Performance” nomination for “Betrayer.” In addition, Low Country Sound/Elektra recording artist Anderson East earned a “Best American Roots Performance” nomination, honoring “All On My Mind.”

The 61st Annual GRAMMY® Awards will be held Sunday, February 10th at the Staples Center in Los Angeles and broadcast live on CBS at 8 pm ET/5 pm PT.
