NAMM 2012: Gibson Displays Traditional Axes

From its early guitars from the 1930s to the current line-up of electrics today, Gibson Guitars has been innovative and a formidable competitor in the music industry. As we came upon the Gibson exhibit at NAMM, we weren’t surprised to see some of the stalwarts electric styles from the 1950s show up to suit the multitude of needs guitarists demand around the world. Les Pauls, ES’s, Firebirds, LP Juniors holding onto their basic design ground, while switching out pickups; polishing up some new finishes and adding variants to the legendary axes.
