The album will be available in stores and online on August 30th. There were rumors the Chili Peppers’ follow-up to Stadium Arcadium would be called Dr. Johnny Skinz Disproportionately Rambunctious Polar Express Machine-head, but the funk-rock royalty decided on the more subdued I’m With You.

I’m With You will be the first album since One Hot Minute in 1995 to feature a guitarist other than John Frusciante, who quit the band to pursue other ventures in 2009. He is replaced on this record by Josh Klinghoffer, who was a friend of the band and frequent collaborator prior to his inclusion as a member.

The first single from the Rick Rubin-produced album will be “The Adventures Of Raindance Maggie,” which hits the airwaves on July 18th.

Stay tuned to their website for any upcoming news.
