Taylor recorded the public service announcement for Child Find of America’s part of the tour’s awareness campaign for the national not-for-profit organization dedicated to the prevention and resolution of child abduction (1-800-I-AM-LOST).
According to Child Find, every day 2,300 children are reported missing in America. You can help find these children by visiting www.facebook.com/RockstarUPROAR, clicking on the Giving tab, entering your phone number and donating $5. You can also text “FIND” to 50555 and do the same.
UPROAR’s Child Find of America awareness campaign also includes wrapping the tour’s semi trucks with images of missing children, providing nationwide exposure on major highways throughout North America for over six weeks; social media outreach to bring safety messages and images of missing children to rock music lovers worldwide; and an onsite presence at each festival date. The first annual Rockstar Energy Drink UPROAR Festival launched August 17 in Minneapolis, MN and runs through Monday, October 4 in Madison, WI.
UPROAR’s stellar active rock lineup includes multi-platinum headliner Disturbed, who entered the “Billboard 200” album chart at #1 with sales of 179,000 copies for their new CD Asylum. This marks Disturbed’s fourth consecutive studio release to debut at #1, a feat achieved by only two other rock bands in the history of the chart: Metallica and Dave Matthews Band.
Multi-platinum co-headliner Avenged Sevenfold also held the #1 spot on the “Billboard 200” album chart just a few weeks ago with their new CD Nightmare. Their “Nightmare” single has also been #1 at rock radio for the three straight weeks.
In addition, the UPROAR main stage features three-time Grammy nominees Stone Sour, who entered the “Billboard 200” chart at #6 with Audio Secrecy this month, following their gold-certified Come What(ever) May album which debuted at #4.
The potent rock lineup for the touring music and lifestyle jaunt also features performances from Jägermeister Second Stage headliners Hellyeah, as well as Airbourne, Hail The Villain, New Medicine and the local Jägermeister-sponsored opener in each city.
