Joining YES will be Steve Hackett, Mike Portnoy and newcomer Riverside, making their long-awaited debut aboard Cruise to the Edge in 2019. Finally, FISH, the respected former lead vocalist of the band Marillion, will be making a rare North American appearance and first on the cruise, performing selections from his old band along with solo material from his illustrious career.

Yes is about to embark on a 35-date summer tour that will have them performing–in their entirety–1971’s groundbreaking album Fragile for the first-time ever and a repeat performance from last year’s tour of 1972’s Close to the Edge, followed by an encore of the band’s greatest hits.

The iconic progressive rock band YES will be kicking off a North America tour on March 1st and performingthree of their classic albums in their entirety; The YES Album from 1971, Close to the Edge from 1972 and their 1977 release, Going for the One.

In a career first, iconic and Grammy-winning rock band YES will perform three of their classic albums in their entirety, all in one concert, on a special tour in 2013: 1971’s The Yes Album, 1972’s Close to the Edge and 1977’s Going for the One.

Today, Steve Hackett, the prolific guitarist who captured the spotlight when he joined Genesis is releasing a new album , Steve Hackett and Chris Squire: Life Within a Day, with bassist, Chris Squire, who rose to fame with the ’70s progressive rock band, Yes.

Trevor Rabin, guitarist/songwriter/keyboardist extraordinaire and ex-member of Prog legends Yes, will soon release Jacaranda (Varese Records), his first new solo album since 1989’s Can’t Look Away. The extremely versatile Rabin covers a wide range of styles on this new album, ranging from rock to jazz and even classical. Rabin plays all of the instruments himself with the exception of drums for all the tracks on Jacaranda, which will hit shelves on May 8th.

Masterful, eclectic and prolific are all words that can be used to begin to describe guitarist Steve Hackett. From a guitarist’s perspective, Hackett certainly ranks as a “grand master” who has completed his theoretical studies and coupled them with hands on performance experience. His journeyman level work with Genesis, which included Peter Gabriel (lead vocals), Phil Collins (drums and later, lead vocalist), Tony Banks (keyboards) and Mike Rutherford (guitar-vocals), helped in the evolution of the group that would eventually sell 150 million albums.
