Summer NAMM 2010: Elixir

Elixir Strings, who are also becoming widely known for their line of high-end instrument cables, was out in full force at this year’s show. Their booth featured two sections, one devoted to Strings and one to Cables showcasing the dual nature of their offerings. Conference goers were treated to constant demonstrations of their cables by Elixir’s expert staff, and people were encouraged to grab a guitar and check out the difference between Elixir and one of their competitors cables for themselves. As well, Elixir’s booth had a multi-headphone feature which allows up to five people at once to listen in on someone testing out their cables.

Two of the new products that the Elixir featured at this summers conference were Elixir Nanoweb Baritone Electric Guitar Strings and their Premium Instrument Cables, which aren’t new but featured a newly designed packaging. Overall, Elixir provided a worthwhile experience, full of solid information, for conference goers, and the overall design and presentation of their booth was one of the best on the floor.
