Experience PRS 2010: Paul Reed Smith Aka Elvis

During the Experience Paul Reed Smith 2010 open house, more than once Paul urged the crowd of dealers and distributors to “have fun” and not just focus on making deals. Little did he know that some of that fun would be at his expense!

In a classic stage moment, Paul was approached by guitarist and friend, Dave Grissom, and Bev Fowler, the powerhouse behind all the logistics, artist relations and everything else at the event carried a large covered frame and when the soft tarp was pulled off, there he was, Paul Reed Smith on canvas as the inimitable hit maker, Elvis Presley, with his ’70s sideburns and white sequined jumpsuit. The audience howled and Smith laughed as hard and as loud as anyone else.

We suspect that Mrs. Smith may kindly suggest that the place of honor for the “Paul as Elvis” art work, adorn the PRS plant walls rather than over the Smith’s fireplace at home.
