I haven’t been this excited about a KISS CD since Psycho Circus back in 1998. Being a KISS fan for over 35 years I found myself enjoying their 2009 release Sonic Boom but feel Monster is a more unified and stronger sounding effort with the band having found their unique writing style.
With only three shows left in their summer tour schedule, Kiss and Motley Crue pulled out all the stops and put on one Hell of a show at PNC in Holmdel, New Jersey, as they shared the stage in a tour simply and powerfully dubbed “The Tour”.
In many ways, Destroyer can easily be called “the definitive Kiss album”.
Adler, the new band led by former Guns N Roses drummer Steven Adler has been added to the lineup for The Kiss Kruise.

For the better part of the last four decades, KISS has set the standard by which all live rock performances are judged and on the heels of these iconic rockers for the last thirty years have been the similarly bombastic live antics of Mötley Crüe.
There is only one national anthem of rock ‘n’ roll, and that is KISS’s “Rock and Roll All Nite”. The make-upped rockers have had plenty of hits, but none as enduring as this anthem. The rock veterans usually close their explosive stage shows with this song, getting entire cities worth of people singing along with the chorus. “Rock and Roll All Nite” was written by Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley in Los Angeles, inspired by “Cum on Feel the Noize” by Slade. It appeared on their 1975 album Dressed to Kill.
Before I played one note on the Cort Gene Simmons Punisher 2 Bass I needed to properly prepare for the occasion. I first needed to re-acquaint myself with Kiss’ Destroyer and secondly, and most importantly, I needed to be wearing a Kiss make-up era shirt. You may be asking yourself why a make-up era shirt when the original Punisher was first introduced by Gene in 1992-93 during Kiss’ Revenge album? The answer is simple, I wanted too!
