The National GUITAR Museum announced that Alex Lifeson, one of the most revered rock guitarists of the past 50 years, will receive its annual “Lifetime Achievement” Award for 2024. Lifeson is the fifteenth recipient of the award.
In an exciting announcement for Rush fans and rock enthusiasts alike, Anthem Records in Canada and Rhino Records will reissue the first-ever solo albums of Alex Lifeson and Geddy Lee. Lifeson’s 1996 album Victor and Lee’s 2000 offering My Favourite Headache will be re-released on August 9, 2024

This is the renowned trio’s first new collection of original material in over five years and their first studio release via Anthem/Roadrunner records. Clockwork Angels, the band’s 20th studio album, will be released on June 12th.

Having recently had a chance to preview the new documentary Rush: Beyond the Lighted Stage, I was looking forward to checking out the latest compilation record from Magna Carta Records, New World Man.
