Combining Steve's insight with Peavey's expertise in guitar manufacturing resulted in a versatile, fully-professional instrument with a personality all its own. The single-cutaway body is made from select maple and mahogany for crisp attack and warm sustain. An exclusive aluminum neck joint completely eliminates the heel for total access to all frets while rigidly anchoring the neck to the body. 2 Peavey custom-wound pickups... one Db2 dual blade single-coil-sized pickup in the neck position and one Db4 quad blade humbucker in the bridge position... supply plenty of output with low-noise operation. Volume and tone knobs plus a 3-way pickup selector with mini toggle for splitting the bridge pickup provide a wide variety of tonal possibilities. Other features include a 25" scale, 22-fret, one-piece maple neck with rosewood fretboard; die-cast tuners; Maxcess aluminum reinforced neck joint; figured maple top on mahogany body; and gold hardware.
