Following the highly successful reunion of Cream and plans for future tours, Warwick has chosen to honor an amazing musician and a historic band by releasing the Jack Bruce Limited Edition Signature Bass. Like the musician for whom it is named, this bass is unique and very special.Starting with a Thumb Bass shape with neck-thru construction, the Warwick design team used hand-selected, AAA bubinga pommel for the body and neck wood. This beautiful and highly figured wood has the same sonic characteristics as the bubinga which is used on the standard Thumb Bass. It produces the same deep lows and trademark growl that define the Warwick Thumb Bass sound. A Cream Reunion inlay at the 12th fret marks its special status.The Jack Bruce Signature Bass comes equipped with a smooth ebony fingerboard, and also features the LED position marker lighting system along the side edge of the neck, that makes it easy to play in the dark. It comes loaded with 2 MEC active J-style pickups and the MEC active BEC III 3-way preamp. This electronics package offers players the most flexible sonic control possible while also providing studio-quiet operation. The controls are set up very intuitively, making adjustments on the fly easy.This is truly a limited edition bass guitar.
