During the late Sixties, young Elliott Landy landed the gig of a lifetime – Woodstock. Asked to photograph the spirited three-day gathering of “Peace and Music”, Elliott had worked out “all access” entry that allowed him free rein to memorialize the largest rock festival of all time.

California -based supergroup The Third Mind’s debut is out now on Yep Roc Records. Billboard premiered the video for “The Dolphins,” the only track on the album with vocals by Dave Alvin.

Is it really fifty years ago that Bruce Cockburn’s first album came out? Indeed it is. His eponymous titled album, which included “Going to the Country” and “Musical Friends,” was released on April 7, 1970. Coincidently, it was also the first album released by True North records.
