In 2017 legendary Genesis guitarist Steve Hackett embarked on his Genesis Revisited & Classic Hackett Tour. During a stop at Birmingham Symphony Hall in London of that year, Steve and his band filmed a concert for CD/DVD release entitled, Wuthering Nights: Live in Birmingham.

One of my few regrets in life was never getting to see Frank DiMino and his ’70s hard rock band Angel play live with their extravagant costumes and visual illusions. I was just a few years shy of being able to see them in their heyday of the mid to late ’70s. By the time I did started attending concerts, they had broken up and disappeared in a cloud of smoke like one of their illusions.

The new King Crimson lineup features founder Robert Fripp reuniting with bassman Tony Levin, drummer-percussionists Pat Mastelotto, Gavin Harrison (Porcupine Tree), and Bill Rieflin (PEM, Nine Inch Nails), woodwind legend Mel Collins, and PRS guitarist and Crimson’s lead vocalist Jakko Jakszyk.
