One of the most iconic rock’ n’ roll bands in history, Motörhead, is out touring the US to celebrate the band’s 35th anniversary and the release their new studio album The Wörld is Yours. This latest release sold 7,000 copies in US in its first week to land at No. 94 on The Billboard 200 chart, and to-date has sold over 100,000 copies, an achievement Lemmy was proud to point out during an interview prior to the show, saying it was the bands best-selling CD yet.

When Times of Grace started, Adam Dutkiewicz and Jesse Leach had songs written but they didn’t know if they would record them. When they had recorded an album, they didn’t know if they would release it. And after they released their debut record, The Hymn Of A Broken Man (Special Edition)(CD/DVD), in 2010, they weren’t sure if they were going to tour behind it, which brings us to the Bottom Lounge last weekend in Chicago. Obviously, response has been enough for Times of Grace to do a club tour across the U.S. with guests War of Ages (Erie, PA) and Straight Line Stitch (Knoxville, TN).

I was a young boy when I figured out what I wanted to do with my life. Experiencing Ed Sullivan introduce the Beatles, unlike other boys, I wasn’t interested in being in the band. I wanted to introduce great talent to the world.

That’s what you get when the combine Buckcherry and HellYeah sharing the same bill in New York City for the Jägermeister Music Tour. While initially this may seem like odd touring combination, make no mistake that these two bands are carrying the torch for pure American Rock n’ Roll, HellYeah with their blend of “spirit lifting” southern rock and Buckcherry with their distinctive commercial driving crotch n’ rock.

Nova Scotia experienced a bitter cold winter’s night on February 3, 2010, when Ann and Nancy Wilson showed up packing heat at the Metro Centre with the rest of their legendary rock band Heart. It was the group’s first landing in Halifax and the crowd was ready to rock.

The second leg of the Music as a Weapon Tour is going on right now across North America, so this is a great time for heavy metal and hard rock fans across the continent. The tour’s third stop was at the Metro Center in Rockford, IL, and Guitar International was on hand to witness Heavy metal giants Disturbed and Korn co-headline with supporting acts Sevendust and In This Moment, all of whom brought down the house that night in Illinois.

On a particularly cold and snowy night, the warmth of Noel Rosa filled the auditorium at the University of Chicago’s International House. The setting was a bar somewhere in Vila Isabel (Rio de Janeiro) back in the 1920s, where musician’s gathered together to enjoy life while playing music. One of those musicians was Noel Rosa,
