She feels like a warm, wise someone who has seen enough bullshit to know how to avoid it calmly, and someone who is at peace with whatever she needs to be at peace with. Vanilla Fudge still rocks. Three of the four original members sound as good as they did back in the late ’60s. And not because I saw some Youtube video of them back in the day. I was up against the old Grande Ballroom stage in Detroit when I was a teen watching them and The Cream when they shared top billing.
