Mention Roger Glover and Deep Purple always comes to mind. But, the bassist has ties with Rainbow, Judas Priest, Elf, Nazareth, David Coverdale and the Ian Gillian Band. Not only does Glover’s bass work speak volumes as a driving force of heavy rock, but his work as a producer and soloist, should be couched alongside his interest in the art world.

Some music diminishes over time and fades away as new sounds and trends emerge that capture new generations with faddish sound effects, speed or unheard of complexity. But, when I hear the 1959 Santo and Johnny Farina #1 hit instrumental, “Sleepwalk”, it always stops me in my tracks, and I listen.
