Morning broke early at Sweetwater where the gear company’s GearFest 2015 kicked off with a long line at the main door. Hundreds of visitors will enjoy new and innovative music equipment for about 400 vendors.
Steve Dwyer, Social Media & Digital Marketing Manager for Sweetwater took the press around for a plant tour where the group saw the whimsical slide that people slip down rather than take the stairs, the large cafeteria, several recording studios, a performance auditorium and a very impressive supply operation with a stock turn of 11…
Scurrying around the grounds, Sweetwater employees and vendor representatives are working last minute issue to pull together the background logistics support that’s so critical to such a successful event.
Major music gear companies are on board and visitors will enjoy the exhibits of PRS, Gibson, Fender, Ibanez, Yamaha, Roland and a feast of other eye candy that they can test drive and buy. And roaming the place one might bump into artists like Jeff “Skunk” Baxter or industry leaders, as we did when we bumped into Paul Reed Smith.

Sweetwater has also set up a Financial Services tent to offer up some terms to enable visitors to grab their dream guitar and take it home.
