A phalanx of world class musicians held their ground on the stage at the Ellnora Guitar Festival 2013 [September 3-7] with performances of blues, roots, flamenco, rock, classical, jazz, ragas and a rich array of music that wowed the audiences at the University of Illinois, Krannert Center for Performing Arts, Urbana, Illinois.
John Schofield, Buddy Guy, Jonny Lang, Kaki King, Lucinda Williams and more filled the place with their unique talents, offering top notch performances for the midwest audiences.
“Wherever you are on your journey with the guitar, you’ll find both familiar haunts and new destinations here at Ellnora. Travel—musical travel—enriches and changes us, and those who make the trip to this festival will leave as expanded and deepened human beings,” offered David Spelman, Artistic Advisor of the Ellnora, as well as the the founder of the New York Guitar Festival.
