Hi there…
I just returned from a couple of days in Stevensville, Maryland, home of Paul Reed Smith Guitars and I’ve got to tell you, I had a blast. The only problem I had was missing the Thursday night PRS get together where two surprise guests showed up: Buddy Guy and Carlos Santana!!!
The third Experience PRS 2009 trade show managed to attract over 1,700 people that included PRS dealers and distributors from around the globe and a throng of PRS guitar owners and friends.

I almost literally bumped into the great Celtic player, Tony McManus and we chatted briefly a few times. Tony’s a great guy and a superb guitarist – check out the Guitar International interview of Tony if you get a chance. Also hanging out were Dweezil Zappa; Johnny Hiland; Dave Grissom; Gary Grainger; Nick Catanese (Black Label Society) and his father, Big Nick and many more. And I have to add that you HAVE TO SEE the Australian group, Electric Mary…these guys are about the best live band I’ve seen in decades!
It’s nearly midnight, so I’m only going to give you a taste of the event for now…but, more to come!
