Guitarist blues master, Tal Naccarato, recently won the Long Island Blues Society’s 2022 Solo/Duo Competition and will soon be headed to Memphis, Tennessee, to show his chops to compete in The Blues Foundation‘s International Blues Challenge. The IBC is scheduled to be held January 24-28, 2023, on the legendary Beale Street.

Tal’s GO FUND ME INITIATIVE FOR MEMPHIS!

The IBC rolls out in over twenty Memphis venues, hosting the challengers and ardent blues fans from around the world. According to The Blues Foundation, in addition to featuring the final rounds of the prestigious blues music competition, the IBC event week will offer seminars, showcases, master classes, film screenings, networking events, book signings, and receptions for blues societies, fans, and professionals.

Throughout his career, Naccarato has worked his way to venues around the U.S. and has been called in as a talented session musician in some of the top venues and recording studios in New Orleans, New York City, Nashville and Los Angeles. And he’s released a number of original songs that will draw you into his blues style, both traditionally-inspired and contemporary.

Tal Naccarato’s albums include: Piedmont Black and Blue (2014), Hot House Flowers (2012), Dream Flower Sessions (2015) and his most recent release, Ten and Two Blues released in 2022. And, albums can be found and downloaded on all the major platforms HERE.
