Steve Rosen recently finished writing his book on his longtime friendshipwith Edward Van Halen. Titled, Tonechaser – Understanding Edward: My 26-Year Journey with Edward Van Halen, the hardback book traces Rosen’s friendship with the late, great guitar player, beginning in 1977 – prior to Van Halen’s debut release – and running through 2003.

Tonechaser is between 400-500 pages in length; 6″x9″ format; and includes some very cool black-and-white interior photos, including front and back covers shot by iconic Van Halen photographer, Neil Zlozower.
