The 47th Annual Brumley Gospel Sing remains one of the industry’s most recognized and highly anticipated Gospel Music festivals in the world and beginning tomorrow the Brumley Music family will host the 47th installment of the annual event. This marks the tenth year the Brumley Gospel Sing takes place in Lebanon, Missouri. Straight down America’s most famous highway, Route 66, one can attend four days of music, food, celebration and entertainment.
The Brumley Gospel Sing originated in 1969 in a rodeo arena in Springdale, Arkansas as an idea by Albert E. Brumley. The popular four-day event brings together dozens of the most popular Gospel performers and more than 20,000 Gospel music fans from all over the world. Known as the “Granddaddy of All Gospel Sing” or “the Bonaroo of Gospel Music,” the Brumley Gospel Sing is a tradition for thousands of guests who have returned each and every year since its inception.
This year’s Brumley Gospel Sing will feature artists like Dailey & Vincent, Karen Peck and New River, Jeff & Sheri Easter, the Hopper’s, the Booth Brothers and a host of others throughout the four days at Cowan Civic Center. Unlike many of the musical events offered across the country The Brumley Gospel Sing has not increased the price of a ticket from last year and offers a wide-range of activities including artist meet and greets, special promotions and city-wide programs. A full list of performers can be viewed at the new Brumley Music website at www.brumleymusic.com
“We are very excited to see our friends who continue to travel to the Gospel Sing for 4 days of incredible performances and entertainment,” said Bob Brumley, President & CEO of Brumley Music Company. “This year’s Gospel Sing will continue my father’s tradition and give new fans many reasons to return next year for the 48th!”
This year Brumley Music plans to embark on several new initiatives that will bring much of the traditions and music to a range of demographics and audiences across the world. Through a soon-to-be-released new website, digital downloads, newly released material, songbooks, larger market events and documentary style TV, the Brumley Music Company is hitting all the right notes through an aggressive plan for maintaining its rightful place in music’s history.
