The Bret Michaels Band made their third straight appearance on Fox & Friends All American Summer Concert Series on July 10th.
Diehard fans were lined up since 10:00 pm the night prior to get a spot in line to see one of the hottest outdoor shows headed up by the Poison frontman. The band pulled into New York City around 3:00 am from a concert in New Jersey, with little or no sleep only to hit the stage at 8:00 am for a stellar performance.
Bret performed three of his classic Poison hits, “Your Momma Don’t Dance,” “Every Rose” and “Something to Believe In.” He closed the mini-concert out with a new song, “Girls on Bars”, off his latest CD, True Grit.
Being a true showman, Bret won the audience over instantaneously with his style and charisma. He also took the time in-between songs to thank and honor the men and woman of the military. Even the “America’s Mayor,” Rudy Giuliani, joined Bret on stage.
Seeing the band perform live several times, there’s no shortage of energy or camaraderie between the members. His band consists of; Pete Evick on guitar, Bart Harris on bass, and Mike Bailey on drums.
Famous Dave’s BBQ and 7/11 were both on hand providing fans with BBQ ribs and Slurpees.
