To mark its 140th anniversary, Epiphone has produced a video to honor its rich heritage and to show how it has maintained its popularity through the years as the “working musician’s guitar.”
Born on the lower east side of New York City in 1873, the company founded by Epi Stathopoulo remains as vital today as it was back then, with a long history of innovation and a long line of legendary artists such as the Beatles, Les Paul, the Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, the Beach Boys, John Lee Hooker, U2’s The Edge, Paul Simon, and Roy Orbison to name a few.
To quote Epiphone President Jim Rosenberg, “we’re designers, innovators, players and mavericks.”
