Led Zeppelin: Celebration Day to Movie Theaters Worldwide on Wednesday – 10/17/2012

When Led Zeppelin came together in December of 2007 to perform a one-night-only reunion concert at London’s O2 Arena in tribute of their friend and Atlantic Records founder Ahmet Ertegun, more than 20 million fans applied for the 18,000 available tickets in a worldwide lottery.

It was the first headline show for the band in 27 years, and what fans had hoped would kick off a reunion tour would instead become a part of the Led Zeppelin mythos.

Omniverse Vision is set to release Led Zeppelin: Celebration Day, a two-hour-plus tour de force of the band’s signature blues-infused rock ‘n’ roll, on 1,500 screens worldwide for a one-night-only encore performance on Wednesday, October 17, 2012.

Fans in 40 territories around the globe will now be able to experience the legendary 2007 reunion concert from a front-row vantage.
