Def Leppard Rocks Fox & Friends in New York City

Steve Doocy of Fox & Friends

How better than to spend a Friday morning with Def Leppard at a BBQ hosted by Fox & Friends, in New York City?

The weather was picture perfect, the ribs were grilling by Famous Dave’s, and Def Leppard supplied the tunes. The band put on a great mini-set which included “Hysteria”, “All About Believin’,” “Animal”, “Rock Of Ages”, “Pour Some Sugar On Me” and “Foolin’”.

A highlight of the morning was when the anchorman, Steve Doocy, was chatting with Rick Savage and Joe Elliot about the new movie, Rock of Ages and made a fatal error on camera by saying it starred Tom Hanks. The crowd went crazy!

Luckily, Joe was there to save the day and set the record straight.

The band was at the top of their game, teasing the crowd with a six song set and a nice preview of their upcoming tour with Poison, this summer. Nobody wanted to leave as kids, fans, and passers-by were all smiling and begging for more.

I think everybody went to work a little happier today.

If Def Leppard ever wants to play a BBQ at my houses….they are always welcome!
