Recent Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and legendary guitarist Slash kicked off his solo US tour at Ram’s Head Live! in Baltimore, Maryland on May 3, 2012.
Slash shares the stage with band mates Myles Kennedy (Alter Bridge) on lead vocals, Todd Kerns on bass and Brent Fitz on drums. The tour is in support of Slash’s second solo album, Apocalyptic Love, which will be released on May 22, 2012.
Billed as “Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators”, the band is extremely tight and has already established a fantastic on stage rapport. Slash appears to be in top form, and if the roars of approval from the sold out Baltimore crowd are a sign of things to come. The band can look forward to a successful time on the road, as well as what are sure to be brisk sales of Apocalyptic Love later this month.
If the Baltimore set list holds true through the tour, fans of iconic guitar master will be treated to selections celebrating the entire breadth of his work to this point. The main course of new material is served up with hearty helpings of GNR classics throughout, with more than a few nods to Velvet Revolver and Snakepit favorites. Vocalist Kennedy more than able to cover the ranges for the entire set.
“Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators” will be performing thoughout the United States for the month of May before heading of to Europe for several dates through June. Whether you’re a casual fan, guitarist, or hardcore Slash follower, there’s a little something for everyone; and it’s an evening you won’t want to miss.

Fantastic review! The show was AMAZING. Those who have seen Slash (with or without Myles, Todd, Brent, and Frank) need to go to this tour and see it all over again. The surprises kept on coming, and it’s pretty great to see a band interact with their fans so much throughout their whole show. I’m still in awe.
