The Interlochen College of Creative Arts has recently announced their 2012 Fingerstyle Guitar Workshop, July 26-28, 2012, hosted by Matthew Schroeder and a handful of other amazing guitarists.
Check out the information below from the workshop’s website, and click here for more information on the program and registration instructions.
The new Fingerstyle Guitar Workshop features some of the world’s finest acoustic guitar performers and educators. Participants will work closely with the artists, attend concerts, master classes and seminars on a broad range of topics including technique, phrasing, tunings and more. The workshop will also include guitar ensemble experiences and a concert by participants.
It is required that participants bring a steel string acoustic guitar to the workshop sessions. Students will also need a thick glass or metal slide that fits on the pinky finger for the “Bottleneck and Lap-Style Playing” workshop. All participants will want to bring notebooks and pencils to each session.
