Coming off a successful launch at the Chicago Fest for Beatles Fans, Badfinger biographer Michael A. Cimino will be hosting a book signing of his new book Badfinger and Beyond – The Biography of Joey Molland at The Nyack Village Theatre in Nyack, NY, the home of RocklandWorldRadio.com.

The signing is scheduled for 3 pm on Sunday, October 9, which happens to be the anniversary of John Lennon’s birth. At 3:30 after the signing, a screening of the Gary Katz-produced documentary film Badfinger will be shown free of charge. The 90 minute film has been described as a “riveting and emotionally gripping saga” that comes from the folks at Pegasus Flight Productions.

The signing coincides with the Nyack Street Fair, which also has free admission, so attendees are encouraged to make a day of it.

For those unfamiliar with Joey Molland and Badfinger, here is some background information: Joey Molland is best known as the guitarist and songwriter for the hit making British group Badfinger. Badfinger were signed to The Beatles’ Apple Records in the late sixties and by the early seventies they had scored a string of top ten hits including “Come And Get It,” “No Matter What,” “Day After Day,” and “Baby Blue.” Joey Molland also has the distinction of playing the rhythm guitar parts for John Lennon on “Jealous Guy” and “I don’t to be a Soldier,” as well as every song on George Harrison’s magnum opus All Things Must Pass.
