Like Journey? Who are we kidding, of course you do. Well, we have good news. Alfred Music Publishing just put out Journey: Eclipse the songbook to the legendary band’s most recent album, this year’s Eclipse, which came out on May 27th. Alfred has been in the business a long time, just like Journey has, and they do an exceptional and thorough job with their transcriptions.

This songbook includes the music to the entire Eclipse album, all arranged for guitar, piano and voice. All of the songs were written by longtime core collaborating songwriters for Journey, Neal Schon and Jonathan Cain, with the addition of two songs co-written by new Filipino lead singer, Arnel Pineda. On top of careful transcriptions of great tunes like “Chain of Love,” “City of Hope,” “Human Feel” and “Resonate,” the folio will also contain multiple full-page photo prints of the band.

According to a press release, Eclipse is the fourteenth album by the Multi-Platinum and Diamond®-selling rock band, who have to date sold well over 80 million copies worldwide. Journey recently garnered a wave of new fans with their iconic song “Don’t Stop Believin’” that endures as the unofficial anthem to the hit TV show Glee. Currently on tour, Journey continues a successful career with the addition of new lead singer, Arnel Pineda.

The songbook retails for $19.99, and can be found at many music retailers and at this location.
